At our practice we focus on the rehabilitation of patients ranging from sporting bracing to amputees who are in the process of learning to walk again, we work closely with GP’s, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors as well as other allied health professionals to ensure that our patients receive the necessary treatment on their road to recovery.
Our main goal in this regard is to assist the patient with their needs thus helping them to complete their daily activities efficiently and increasing their activity level through the inspiration and support of enhancing functionality.
Let’s meet Tristan Padachie
I have qualified in the field of Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2018 at the Tshwane University of Technology(TUT). I have worked in Government centres like Wentworth hospital (Kwazulu Natal) and Pinelands (Western Cape). During my time in the Government sector I obtained the necessary knowledge, skill set and feedback during the outreach clinics in the rehabilitation process of patients overcoming the odds that they were up against. I have gained a lot of experience during these times but I still have the appetite to learn more and take every day as an opportunity to expand my outlook.
My passion for this field is defined by the joy my patients feel more confident in themselves and vanquish the doubt of difficulty. To me one of the most exhilarating experiences is helping a patient who never thought they would walk again to be able to take those steps independently and thereby improving quality of life.
